Oxford Baptist Church

We are a community of people on a journey. We would love to encourage you in the journey whether you are interested in beginning the search to discover the truth about Jesus Christ or are in search of a new spiritual home

At Oxford, through the help of the Holy Spirit we desire to make disciples who have a Passion for Jesus and Compassion for People. We are trying to do that by becoming the kind of church that the Bible describes - a church with relevant teaching, God honoring worship, authentic community, continual prayer, and a compassionate love for people who have serious needs.

We know that life can be tough and challenging. You are not going to hear easy answers to complex issues at Oxford. We believe in an invisible God who sent His Son, a couple of thousand years ago, to a culture that none of us have experienced in a place that is on the other side of the planet. What is easy about any of that? On top of that He gave us instructions that He wants us to follow, but no one has ever followed them completely without failing. We know that this is not easy to translate or digest in our world.

At Oxford, we are learning together what it really means to be a Christ-follower, even though that presents tremendous challenges to all of us. We're a learning community where hopefully you'll find a lot of grace.

We hope that you choose to visit Oxford, whether you are just starting to ask questions about God, or you are a committed Christ-follower, or you are some place in between. We hope that you will find Oxford to be a place where you can grow in your journey towards God.
