Girls Alive, J.A.M. – Jesus And Me, Boys’ Club

What are are Clubs for kids about?

Girls Alive!· For girls entering grade 1 - 6

· Each evening begins in celebration with singing.

· A rotation of activities gives the girls opportunity to visit the Creatives room, Cookie room (to make yummy snacks), visit Park Place Retirement Home (by Victoria Park) to visit the residents - making a snack for them, sharing some Girls Alive lessons -such as singing some favorite Girls Alive songs, acting out a Bible story, or playing a game.

· Discover God's truth through the stories of the Bible.

· Service projects include a local project and an international project. More information to come!

· Special events we look forward to: father-daughter banquet, mother-daughter celebration, Circle Square Ranch weekend campout.

J.A.M. - Jesus And Me!· For boys entering grade 1 and 2

· Each evening includes celebration in song, cooperative games/ play,

· discovering God's truth through the stories of the Bible

· write letters/ visit/ pray for a Senior friend (from the Church)

· an international service project - more information to come!

· Special events we look forward to include parent/child craft nights! (fun with wood/nails and hammers!)

Boys' Club· For boys entering grade 3 - 6

· Games

· The Action Bible - discovering God's truth through the stories of the Bible

· Quizzes/ Challenges

· An opportunity for boys to develop comradship with one another, men and youth guys as they discover more of what it means to grow as a young boy to know Jesus.

· Special events - more information to come!

· registration includes your son's own copy of "The Action Bible" a comic-book style Bible that will be used for reading each week.

· opportunities for parents/ grandparents/ an uncle/ or special friends to enjoy with the boys!

Club information:

First Club night for Girls Alive and J.A.M. :

Wed. Sept. 14

6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., at the Victoria School, 45 Delatre St.

Additional parking at Oxford Baptist Church (corner of Oxford and Hunter St.)

First Club night for the boys gr. 3 - 6 will start in a couple of weeks.

It will be held at Oxford Baptist Church,

6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Please enter through the parking lot entrance.

More information coming shortly!

It is important that children are picked up inside the school or Church at 8:15 p.m. Thank you!

Club calendar:

Sept. – Dec. 21, off over Christmas

Jan. 11 – April 25,

March break – Wed. March 14, soccer fun afternoon, no evening club

Information regarding special events will be coming!

Registration:

Registration is $20 each for the first and second child of a family.

A cap of $40.00 per family

T-shirts may be ordered. $15.00 for Girls Alive and J.A.M. t-shirts.

Shirts available for sizing. Some t-shirts are available for purchase.

Boys’ gr. 3 – 6 – to design own t-shirt, $5.00.

Parents/ Guardians, please complete club waiver and review behavior expectations with your child/ children. Thank you!

Safety: At Victoria School, the main doors at the school will be locked at 7 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.. A door bell to the right of the window by the front door will allow access.

Leaders are volunteers who have been screened and look forward to working with your child.
